The uci will not require minimum points to be in the Nations Cup Cali

The competitions programme for the various rounds of the UCI Track Cycling Nations’ Cup will feature the six Olympic events (Madison, team pursuit, Omnium, keirin, sprint and team sprint) and the men’s 1km and women’s 500m time trials. Other events on the track programme may be added, depending on each round.

Notification of these additional events will provided as soon as possible, along with detailed programmes. As stated in the previous issue of the UCI Newsletter, owing to the disruption that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused to the UCI International Calendar and the numerous travel restrictions in place, the ability of many riders to gather UCI points has been seriously affected.

As a result, riders will not be required to have a minimum of 250 points in the UCI Track Rankings in order to take part in the individual events and the Madison. For the avoidance of all doubt, the limits set out in articles 3.4.007 and 3.4.007bis remain applicable.
